The portion of Route 128 between Castle Valley and Moab is a unique river highway that runs along the southeast boundary of Arches National Park. The drive along the river, to and from the Inn, is a spectacular drive of which we never tire. You’ll drive along the river looking up at 1000 ft to 1500 ft cliffs. Each turn in the road gives an unbelievable new vista. Much of the drive is still open range with no fences to obscure your view. It is often described as a grand canyon of its own, and every bit as beautiful as any national park.
